Ergonomic Technology

E.T. grinding wheels feature a ‘built-in’ grinding angle, which allows the operator to keep their elbow lower and their shoulder more relaxed than they would with a Type 27 or Type 28 wheel. This patent pending ergonomic design reduces worker fatigue.

The E.T. shape also provides aggressive metal removal with less pressure, and without gouging the work surface. It is intended for both flat surfaces, and rugged edge grinding or beveling. It is especially effective on curved surfaces, where the operator must reach or stretch to perform the job.

E.T. wheels are designed to fit under standard angle grinder guards. They are built with 3 full layers of high tensile fiberglass reinforcement for maximum workplace safety.

ERGONOMIC ADVANTAGE

For safe and effective performance, depressed center grinding wheels are designed to be used at a minimum 15 degree angle (wheel face from workpiece). The optimum angle for most applications is 30 degrees.

The saucer shaped E.T. wheel is designed with a 20 degree angle ‘built-in’. This reduces fatigue and muscle strain by making it easier to maintain a 30 degree angle without raising the shoulder and elbow while grinding, allowing a more natural and comfortable stance.

PERFORMANCE ADVANTAGE

The unique design of the E.T. wheel allows more contact area between the wheel and the workpiece, resulting in more controlled grinding and blending without gouging, and with less pressure required.

The A30S specification is an excellent ‘all purpose’ formulation for most metals, including stainless steel and alloys, with excellent wheel life and a fast material removal rate.

E.T. wheels are designed to fit under most standard angle grinder guards when mounted with standard Depressed Center Wheel flanges provided with the tool.

The wheel has 3 full diameters of high tensile fiberglass reinforcement for maximum safety.
